I would like to define the theme my visitors see in the link.

sudermatt.smugmug.com/gallery/1234567?Theme=Sandbox
sudermatt.smugmug.com/keywords/mutt-jeff?Theme=smugsmall

can this be done?

Thanks,
Matt

you cant apply a theme programmatically like that, however a gallery can be themed by you. so if you know what theme you want, you can just go ahead and apply it.

keyword results will use the default theme as specified in your control panel.

This is good. The style is what I was really thinking of (sorry).

I tried the sample style change link provided and it worked...woohoo!

I just wish, after changing the style, the link would take you to the gallery. it took me to the smugmug home page. This makes it difficult for me to give people one link that will take them to the page and change the style just before they get there.

Is this possible? Or do I somehow need to build in a double link thingy.

    Thanks
    Matt.

    BTW:
this might be useful to you heavy smugmug users. I am an amature photographer, the one at any event that ends up taking most of the pictures. Consiquently, people are always wanting to see my pictures. I have my own website. what I did was set up a Redirect engine that is table driven. I tell people at the event. "if you want to see the pictures, go to fotoactiv.com/ourwedding . It will take a couple days to get it up". I can make it up on the fly. Then, I push the pictures to a smugmug gallery. On my website I make a simple table entry, relating fotoactiv.com/ourwedding to the actual smugmug galery address. when the people type in what I told them, they see a little "redirecting...." message, then they see the gallery. It works great and its really easy to maintain.

I guess I could build an extra step that would set the style THEN go to the gallery, but I'd rather not.

That's my tip. Hope you find it useful.
