I like the concept of the first photo very much, but I find the DOF a little distracting. My eye doesn't really know where to go. A piece just a bit left of centre is a bit out of focus for me.
The second photo has really nice soft light. The only thing that I would try to eliminate is the hot spot on the egg shell.
I also like the concept of the second photo, maybe adding something more , such as flour, or a cookbook would tie it together.
The egg shells could be a bit closer to each other. They look a bit lost.
But what a great shot it is... Really thought off composition. Like the black and white for this...
I like this one. Very sharp, very simple. I think the two eggs should be seen as a unit two make three elements. Therefore, they should be closer together. Just my opinion though. It's very well done.
