Tripod Strap that doesn't soak water, por favor!

I just bought my woman of choice an optech tripod strap.
by doing stuff like this I always get to check out cool
assesories before I decide to buy them for myself. Unfortunately
the strap has some sort of cellular foam as a padding. One
that soaks water like a sponge. A wet sholder after some
rain or snow isn't exactly fun when trecking for hours in the
outdoors. So here's the question: Do you know a tripod strap
that's comfortable and fits my needs?

Excellent commentary on tripod straps there! One could
remove the padding from the optech to get the same result
as a with the webbing. I'm now looking into the Tamrac Tripod
Bag mentioned in the link above. It is waterproof, has a shoulder
strap and costs nearly the same as the optech... Thanks!
