Near Housekeeping Camp
Half Dome from the backpacker's campground near North Pines campground.
The next morning we caught the shuttle bus to Tuolumne Meadows...where we would start hiking back to Yosemite Valley...
We spent our first night at lower Cathedral Lake
"Cathedral Peak and the Puddle"
Cathedral Peak after sunset.
More to come...

I like Cathedral Lake shots, and sunrays through the fog...
And the railways shots brought back memories of the soar feet :
Cheers!

My wife and I stayed in San Francisco in 2003 and made the mistake of taking a day trip to Yosemite (didn't quite grasp the distance.) We spent most of the day in the coach and about two hours at the park, hopeless, doh!
Thanks for the gallery. We visited there and I couldn't come close to your work.

The first two suffer, IMO, from the heavy cyan cast on the rocks.

Probably from opening up the shadows....are you working with a calibrated monitor David? I have a brand new computer and monitor and haven't calibrated the monitor yet.

Not machine calibrated, but software. It's pretty accurate, but not highly accurate. Still, the amount of cyan in there can not be attributed to my monitor, I don't believe. Or it's a matter of taste....

Ok, just checking ...because I wasn't seeing it here.
I'll have to work on that.
