After a whole day of waiting, UPS truck finally appeared on my driveway and the driver handled me over a little box... Very light one

Inside was Acratech Ultimate Ballhead V2, which I ordered from AcePhoto (it was cheaper to order it from Virginia than to pay California sales tax:-).
Man, what a work of art! :clap
It's all I was hoping for, but now it's real!
Beautiful craftsmanship, featherweight, aesthetically pleasing, extremely smooth...
I was a little bit concerned about the clamp release being a screw, not lever, but it turned out to be a total non-issue.
Now I have to wait until my legs arrive (from Amazon) :cry
And I also have to keep saving for the L-plate... :scratch
Oh, well, at least I've started :rofl
