Thanks for taking the time to comment Steve. The circuit was on narrow roads and when a car left the road it was on grass which did nothing to slow it down. I had to run for cover twice. The second time, a porsche blew a rear tyre and was skidding straight for me. I didn't wait for a picture .

I really like the first one. All that tire smoke and the angles say action and movement, to me.

I like #2, but it needs some wheel blur so it doesn't look so static. It has a sweet exposure.

I was 30 feet from the chicane with my back to a tree for the first shot. The cars were braking hard as they passed me. the driver in this pic missed his braking point and demolished part of the chicane

If I had stayed behind barriers with the marshalls I wouldn't have gotten any half decent photos. The race was through a public park on roads so there was loads of trees in the way. It was hard to get any kind of a clean background. It was great craic tho'
