Went out in the backyard about 5pm tonight to see if I could catch the hummingbirds at the feeder. My neighbor had his sprinkler on which was right next to the fence dividing our yards. The water was getting some of my yard and the fence wet. This gal landed on top of the fence and was enjoying a cool summertime shower.

    What a great shot! I thought it was a winter shot at first - ha.

    hey, wait a minute!!! you used 1/250 at 500 mm with the Sigma 50-500 - you're not suppose to get sharp pictures that way but YOU DID!!!
    nice catch, i would have thought it was some goldfinch....
