I was amazed to see these in the other post, never seen anything like 'em before... then I came across them today - what a coincidence. Maybe I just need to look a little harder. Anyways - I was amazed to find them.

Makes me wish I had a true Macro lens - next purchase!

sorry so many of the same bug, can't seem to decide which one is better. CC welcome!

I had seen one and didn't know what it was either. My shots were no where near as good as yours. Nice shots.

thanks - what a neat little insect. I loved how it would just hover and work all the flowers on the same bunch then go to the next group. When I saw it I just couldn't believe what I was seeing, since I had just seen your photos - almost felt sureal - glad I had my camera!

These little guys are great! they look like a strange combination of many different animals (to me). I've noticed that some are more orange and some are more brown and some are more green.

These are great shots too! I like 2 and 4 the best as they show the detail in the wings (which I really like) among other reasons.

    Great series!! clap.gifclap.gif
