    Great capture, Lynn!
It's interesting how the left-hand part of the canoe (the one that's not a silhouette) is highlighted...headscratch.gif

Mind to post the EXIF? It's a technically challenging shot, I'd like to learn how the masters do it bowdown.gif

    Thanks! 1drink.gif

Hi Lynn...........I just read Nik's reply to you.

He is right about the siloette effect being on half the canoe and not the other half......... thats pretty dang clever isn't it.

I like the long rippling shadow of the moon glowing in the water too :D

It's Squanto in a canoe, haha. I like this photo, it has like 70s feel or something to it, pretty sweeeeet. thumb.gif

thanks all for your nice comments. This shot was taken at 2.8 iso 1600 hand held:uhoh ... the original was evening blue and blurred (how could it not be? I forgot my tripod :cry ) so I ran it through virtual photographer program - moonlit - to enhance it's grain and darkness rather than try to make it better. No big technique.. just a lucky shot that I tried to make better.
    thanks again.

I love this shot! Personally I'd do a tight vertical crop and frame it, and hang it on the wall!

    So nice!
