    same shot. (looking north up the hudson river from cornwall).

    P setting on the Canon A95. I chose Daylight, ISO 100, Neutral effect.

    camera chooses shutter and f stop in P.

    the scenery one has better color.

    Yup, looks like the Scenery setting boosts the Saturation and Contrast, at a minimum.

    The funny part is that the second shot in each case looks to be more natural; truer to what the naked eye might see. Yet the enhanced landscape colors in the first shot (in each case) are definitely more appealing to the eye and give the captures the ever popular "pop". It's that very kind of experimentation that helps us better understand our cameras.
