Newborn Photo shoot
I have been recently taking a course for baby Photography and luckily my daughters and nieces have supplied 5 babies for me to get some practice !!! first one was born on May 3....5th one to be born next week! It has been a whirlwind of baby showers and visits!

I met my little grandniece over the weekend and got some shots.

I love the b&w shots - what great shots. iloveyou.gif

Though I must say that the diaper in the 2nd picture will NOT work very well. I feel like I must strap 2 to my 22mo son sometimes... rolleyes1.gif
is now gone. i have no time for cliques and fan clubs.

These are very good, Trish. The ribbon diaper is hilarious, the last one (sans ribbon) looks very peaceful. I can't believe how much hair she has!!! My 14-month-old is still practically bald!

She has great eyes (obviously), but her expression looks entirely too grown up for her age in that first shot! Personally, I don't mind the lighting.

while I Laughing.gif at the ribbon "diaper", I really like the last shot. Good conversion (from what I can tell), the way the blanket comes slightly up around her and then fades away. And of course, the peaceful look. Nice job.thumb.gif

I agree, light may be a little harsh for such a delicate subject and I think your black and whites may benefit from a higher contrast (but that may just be a personal preference, so ignore me if you hate contrasty photos)
