How do these work?

I have nothing but questions about these kind of shoes. I have two family members (sister and sister-in-law) who wear them, but they take my questions for insults, so they are no help.
  1. How uncomfortable are they? Is it as bad as it looks?
  2. Is there any man who likes them? Do women just wear them for other women?
  3. Where do the toes go?
  4. Doesn't the person wearing them trip all the time? Does the toe get stuck in things?
If not now, when?

They look pretty uncomfortable. I don't like how they look and my wife doesn't own one pair. Not sure where the toes go...I saw one woman's heel go down into one of those street grates once...it was funny because she was okay after she fell...

    Rutt,

I don't know you verry well but just going by the posts I have read, I have difficulty believing you will be happy with these. I mean if you really heve to wear some womans garments you could wear otjher items that are less conspicuous, but still make you feel pretty.

Ether way I'll still look at, and appreciate your photos.

Hope it all works out for you.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

Yes it is as bad as it looks.Yes they are uncomfortable and also make your back ache as you are now tilted forward in a "cute"? supposedly sexy stance.
Woman wear them for men AND other women... anything that makes us look taller, thinner, thinner, or thinner we'll suffer.
The toes squish into the pointy bit and after a few years the toes stay that way.
No we don't trip at all.
No the toe never gets stuck in things but the heels do which means we have to walk gingerly without putting any weight on the heels in dodgy places.
    OK???? now you know rolleyes1.gif

I think Lynn answered the part about the heels. They've been around for a long time and I'm used to them. It's the pointy toes I don't get. I had a pair of cowboy boots once that had toes sort of like that and suffice to say, I never wore them.

One more question, how much did the person who created this design make from it?
    If not now, when?

    John -
    I had no idea!! :D:D

The funniest story I ever heard regarding high heels was about a brides-maid walking down the aisle who stepped on a heating grate and got her heel stuck in it and could not pull it out. Thinking very quickly she removed her foot from the shoe and walked on down the aisle so as not to hold up the wedding. The best man, walking behind her, saw the whole thing and quickly reached down and grabbed the shoe, but the heating grate unfortunately came along with the shoe.
The bride, walking behind the best man, was dreaming of the wedding vows when she stepped into the open hole in the floor and broke her leg. Not the best way to start a wedding in a full leg cast. Just goes to show, stuff always will find a way to happen! :D Be careful out there in high heels.

What I'm wondering about is... where's the barefoot,
three-legged colorblind lady who left these behind?!
