Balboa Park, San Diego

My wife and I just returned from a mini-trip to San Diego to visit her father. We were only there for a few days, so not enough going on to make a real travelogue (for the Journeys forum) but I thought I'd share a few shots of beautiful Balboa Park.

I welcome comments and critiques :nod

The writing is hard to read but it says "Do not walk outside this area". Sound advice!

Every park in the world has at least one of these guys...

Lots of very ornate buildings and lush plantings -

The art gallery had a Warhol exhibit going on - I thought this would have been good for the "Contrast" challenge a few weeks back!

There's a few more here if you like, and I have a few I'll throw in the Nature forum as well. Thanks for taking a look!
