I'd like to enter the motion challenge. These were taken with my old S1 IS. I could use help in posting these to come up as pics and not links! I also welcome any comments! Thanks!

    Hey, welcome.

The simple way of it: When you're looking at the little box that says Message: there's that whole two rows of buttons that look like they came straight out of Word or something. In the second row, the fourth image from the right looks like a yellow box with a mountain in it and a square gray sun. Click that, and a box will appear.

There is also an entire thread on various ways to post differently. If you want to post your picture and also embed the EXIF data into it, there's a thread here that will tell you how to do it.

As for the pictures, as they are now, I like the first one the best. I thought the color one portrayed motion more obviously (strange how that works sometimes), but there's this purplish cast on the faces (from all those neon lights, I'm guessing?) that I can't bring myself to like.

    My two choices
Thanks!! Ok...it's between these two, then. Let's see if I get the pics posted correctly.

Thanks for all your help! I'll definitely check out the threads.

    My favorite motion pic.

    Thanks for the comments...
I've looked at this picture a thousand times and never noticed the man in the lower corner. This is the cropped photo. Much better, I think! As for the challenge, however, I'm going with the subway picture. Thanks again for all your comments and help!

    Hi Teresa,

Love your entry but I noticed that you did not post a date for the photo. The contest requires that photos be "fresh," ie, taken during the contest period and that the exif info, or, at a minimum, the date the picture was taken, be included with each entry. (You can read all the rules here.) Be sure to modify your entry post to include the info. Otherwise your entry will be disqualified. Fortunately, even if the picture was not taken since the beginning of the current challenge, you still have time to come up with an entry. Either way, good luck and welcome to dGrin.

Thanks Virginia...I didn't read the rulesne_nau.gif . Though I WISH I'd been to New York in the past week, it was last March...lol

But I still appreciate all the positive feedback from everyone!!

    Thanks,
    Teresa
