Having read the help I dont know how to rename folders in batch. It looks like I have to do it individually....any ideas?

I have taken pictures on a trip then come back with a card reader full of folders that are a bummer to go through.

Also I would like to rename the files within these folders in sequence from the first picture taken being my nameisblah 0001 to mynameisblah4743.

Is this possible without opening each individual folder and remembering the last photonumber renamed in each conversion?

Anybody know of a good bridge tutorial?

Based on the postings you have made today, I could not do better than suggest the purchase of 'The DAM book' by Peter Krogh. you can see quite a bit on his site and it's links.. http://www.damuseful.com/

Aye - its because of that bloody book i've started to become aware of these things. I read the review here, then the beginning chapter. then all hell broke loose in my perception of "Data asset management"

Waiting for my bro to bring me a copy as I'm in Beijing.
