    I think it is an immature little blue heron, but sometimes the immature birds are hard to ID. I'm sure Harry will know. Nice captures, it looks like it is wearing urban camo.

    I believe its an immature little blue heron, it is losing its white feathers and has almost all of its grey-blue feathers in.

    Good shots JIm. It is a juvenile little blue heron. They are all white when first born. This is because its easier for them to hang out with the snowy egrets during their first year (if they were all blue the snowys would run them off). After the first year they start to turn blue.

    You and Nick are rightclap.gifclap.gif ,Harry just came on line and identified it as a little blue heron. I thought it might be or possiably be a inmature tri color.
