I don't usually do these "tilted" images, but this one seemed right for it.

I also straightened it:

Does this trip anybody's trigger one way or the other? (No, it's not my best stuff.)

Thanks,

Hi Ziggy........isn't it odd how just cropping that same image actually makes it look like the guy in the White Singlet has actually moved ?? yet we know he hasn't ..... I like both orginal and the crop shot :D Skippy (Australia)

weirc but to me the second one seems tilted Anti clockwise in relation to the orizon and the first one seems right horizon wise.

not sure if its an illusion because saw the ifrst one first but the second deff doesnt look straight to me based on the bit of horizon i can see

I like the tilted version. To me, it adds a little bit of impact.

Thanks Skippy. He has moved with respect to the photo edge and he is more dominant because of the crop. Yep, it makes a significant difference.

    Stustaff,

The slanted trees and the slanted "ridgeline" lend to the effect, and yes, the ridgeline looks like a horizon.

    Thanks,

Thanks Sid. There are several things I have problems with in this shot, and several elements I like. Just good enough to keep.

My son and I were on a father-son retreat at Camp Merrill Benson, a YMCA campground in northern Illinois. This particular scene is the outdoor Chapel, of course.

    Awais,

I'm glad you liked it but I'll bet you would have done better. You do amazing things with those cameras you use.
