We've enjoyed a relatively fog free season this year as your photo shows. And, yes, I know that spot too. I'm hoping to be there in early December.
damn, you're right andy. that distagon is sharp sharp!
Oh my god, and I thought I was the only photonerd who wore tastefully ugly hawaiian shirts while shooting
I love that particular area by the way, just North of the lovely little town of Gorda, right on the coast. I'd say about 60% of the time, there is fog there at this time of year, so consider yourself fortunate that you didnt run into any guys!

fantastic! & the one with the fish I looks like your on the edge of the world............IN A MOOMOO!!!
MOOMOO??? Guess that's what they call them in the dairyland! Love your shots, Andy. I think Christopher Columbus would have loved that fish-eye shot!!!
That does it! From now on, I am wearing my mumu around everywhere too like homer
Seriously though, tell me those hawaiian flower print shirts are not some of the most comfy clothes to wear while shooting. Well, at least I think they are
Except in the instance where you cant see the ticks that are crawling all over you while walking along the coast. Eek!
Andy, if you happen to notice in your shot btw, the poison oak is all around you off that cliff. All I can say is... the horror. The poison oak along the Big Sur coast is some of the nastiest hazards I've ever dealt with in the field. Shooters beware!

Hey, there's the bridge! Favorite road for car advertisements.
Nik- best ribs are at "Naples Ribs" in Naples (Long Beach). I eat there about once a week. TY and I were there Saturday.

Duly noted, appreciate the info! :
I just wonder why you did not shoot it at ASA 3200 instead of 100 where us poor Nikkonians must dwell.
