Feeds the way they should be

Every so often I run across a service that changes the way I do things for the better.
A few months ago, I got on the "feed" train. I thought they were great, and that by subscribing to all the websites, blogs, etc that I like to read, I'd save time and be more productive with my internet usage. Trouble is, I'm a total news junkie, always wanting to know what the next new thing is. As a result, I found myself going back to my feed reader every 30 minutes or so, which became an incredible drag on my productivity at work. I'd go home, talk with my wife, play with the kids, and be wondering if anything new had popped up on the feeds. Insanity!
Enter FeedBlitz. FeedBlitz is a free feed subscription service that emails you the latest updates to your subscribed feeds at the interval you specify. I now stay up-to-date with my beloved content (Don's blog and SM release notes, for instance) via a once-daily summary email from FeedBlitz.
This may sound dumb, but I honestly feel like FeedBlitz has removed the "burden" of constantly checking my feeds. I get one email each day which summarizes the stuff I care about. I read it, click some links, and I'm done! Back to the real world, which is where I prefer to live. :wink
I should say that I have no affiliation whatsoever with FeedBlitz. I'm just enamored with the sevice they provide, and thought I'd share.
Have a good weekend! :thumb
