What about a wallpaper service?

I keep getting this idea popping into my head -and sorry if it's been suggested before. But people buy prints, so why not sell wallpaper? Scripting is easy, so you could create an interface that allows people to buy an image resized for the resolution that they are using on their screen -and a way to see how the image will be cut if there is a change in image format.

Of course, there is nothing stopping someone from printing a wallpaper, but they wouldn't be getting the original high resolution image. Currently you can go through your browser's cache and print images that are stored from viewing a gallery so I doubt that wallpaper would hurt print sales.

Am I smoking crack or does the idea sound viable?

I just enabled digital downloads, but after adding an image to my cart I don't see an option to order a download

Log out. We're not evil, we won't charge YOU for your own file

Better yet, have TWO browsers, one logged in and one logged out.
