...while my wife had a baby shower for one of her friends, I decided to shoot some.(what else?)

It was a hazy overcast day...so I normally would not have been out. This was my first shot.

I liked the scene so well that I decided to show you even though the light was terrible.

    Very nice capture Ric.
You might consider to make some adjustments in the hazy overcast by using use blackpoit-eyedropper in PS.

Here a quick and dirty sample of your adjusted pic:

I liked the original picture, Ric -- soft, misty, ethereal feel to it. Dick's adjustments are nice too, but show up a little dark and contrasty (but maybe it's my monitor -- I haven't calibrated it in a while...). Composition is lovely -- great capture!

Wonderful composition and beautiful spot! I'm not a fan of the hazy look, and might just adjust w/curves a little in PS.

Two commodities are in this shot that we're a little short of in Texas --- water and the color green.

I did take some out and darken the shadows...but only to show the scene as I recall it.

    Thanks. :D

I tried it...but didn't care for the changes.
