can't choose! help?

I can't choose between these 2, very different, images. Anyone have any last minute thoughts?

#1 is great what form hes got, great capture! I like the motion better in #2 though.

I would choose number 2. The first has some elements that detract from the composition and theme.

thanks! I liked the wave more for 'motion', but the toddler pic had more 'e-motion' for me and I think that's why I was drawn to it.
