I have alot left to learn about air show photography. I was lucky to get anything useable at all. All shot with the 70-200 f/2.8L which was just barely long enough. Most of these are cropped pretty tight to fill the frame.

We all have much to learn about air photography and ...
I can see you have done a good work with the lens you have available for such a task.
I don't know if I could do it the way you did... ne_nau.gif

Hi there Truth....... yeah I know what you mean about not having a long enough lens....... I went to my first AirShow with a 70-200mm too, and learnt real fast that it wasnt going to be long enough.

I have since added a 400mm to my collection which I will take next year if we can get some tickets.

You did pretty good with this lot thumb.gif ....... Skippy (Australia)

Thanks, it was my first time shooting an air show so I'm ok with the results. I did learn alot for how I'll shoot this type of event next time.

This guy was shooting a few feet from me and I can only imagine what his pics look like.

    I was rather envious. :cry
