I entered my first challenge with challenge 71 and I am amazed at how much more attentive I am to what could be a good picture. I am just beginning and have a lot to learn yet - like taking a picture of a bug on a windshield - I would have titled that Sudden Stillness or High Speed Stillness - feel free to use that idea - like I said - I don't yet know how to take a picture like that. Anyway - here are my choices - what do you think?

I forgot to mention - all are adjusted only for contrast except the second patriotic one - i photoshopped out some telephone poles.

    Nice color and compositions
I like the limp flag best....gives a sense of stillness...as in no wind. The kite picture denotes (to me anyway) that wind exists even though the shot doesn't reveal it...but she couldn't very well fly a kite without it..Laughing.gif. Popeye is indeed still...he's a statue. The limp flag, especially looking up the pole is a great capture...I'm diggin it.

    Thanks for sharing! thumb.gif

    Thanks for the input
I was leaning toward that pic for the contest - glad to have others agree. Thanks for the feedback.
