This was my first trip to the Virginia International Raceway. I had a great time, took hundreds of photos. Here are some of my better ones.

    Great work there, Thomas!

I'm definitely not one who watches racing for the crashes, but if one happens right in front of you you may as well capture it! I've not seen any other pictures of these, especially the Spies wreck. I was standing next to him for a few minutes on Friday night and it looked like he was in a bit of pain with that hand. Amazing he was able to do as well as he did for the weekend.

    Cory West shot is cool!

Technically, I don't see any detail in a lot of your blacks. Did you shoot in RAW?
    Sid.

All shot in jpg. I thought about raw, but too many pictures and not enough memory. The blacks are more a result of too much curve applied in PP. I'm still adjusting my PP workflow.
