Nice shot. I like the lighting and the graininess.

    thanks much david-

I believe the focus was at the level of the left eye and the blankie-decided to try to blur the blanket a little to soften it-

Love the conversion and light, great treatment to make the lips really pop and the skin glow. Not sure I like that there is no definate black. It would be hard though to get a nice black AND not clip and keep the back of the head seperate. I'd alt-click-left gamma slider in levels to see where the DARKEST part of the image are and if you can set that at black and still keep the shadow definition you have. Beautiful shot.

I like it more with a definate black but for print purposes you may just want to leave it as it was as most printers will eat that tiny bit of gradiation anyway. I have a real pet peeve about not having a real black, it is my problem not yours. Looks great boths ways, it is your call.

Great shot, George. clap.gif Blurring the blanket helped. The black point stuff doesn't seem to make a great deal of difference on my monitor.

I agree with everyone... very nice shot, George. I prefer the original version best.

Beautiful shot! I like the treatment you gave it. Sort of has an aged photo look. I like the first one best.
