Monterey Historics Vintage Race
One of the best Vintage race weekends in the world.
A wonderful event with all kinds of vintage cars.
This year featured demonstration laps by Riccardo Zonta in a current Toyota F1 car. Riccardo easily broke the previous lap record on his first hot lap.
C&C welcome....

I'm no Laguna expert, but I can't remember seeing a car lifting its front wheel coming down the corkscrew before. Motorcycles, sure, but wow...he must have really hit the gas hard there. Any larger wing on the front and he'd have taken off.
Thanks.
Yeah, he was pushing pretty hard.
Quite a few cars will lift their wheels at that point, but quite as much as this!
The F1 cars are amazing. Super loud too. It was great to see a modern F1 car in person, as I have not been to an F1 race in about 20 years.

and one of my most favorite cars, ever:
It's lifting due to lateral cornering load, and the road dropping away. It's not a power wheelie.
That Maser is beautiful!
Yes, exactly. It didn't occur to me that the OP thought it was wheelie.
I'm so used to seeing race cars lift their wheels in corners it didn't cross my mind.
And I agree, the Maserati's are gorgeous!
