    I like the treatment you gave the original portrait. Any chance you might
    be able to replicate the feel of this one?

    I get a sense of family, joy, love from this one. It's made intimate by the
    close up and lighting.

    I like the idea of the seated portrait. Knealing might be good too?

    Get everyone on the floor kids opening presents, parents watching the kids, tell them silly stories to get them to laugh. No one looks at the camera. Very informal, not too contrived.
