It's very brave for a tasty looking rabbit like that to sit in the open.

    Good capture, well done.

    Thanks for sharing.

Hey put some mustard on Ginger.....mmmmm! rolleyes1.gif

We used to have a mutt that could catch a rabbit like it was nothing. She would get the rabbit running, then cut off at a sharp angle and the rabbit would ALWAYS run to the spot she picked and it's demise.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    I hear ya!

We are soon off to Maine (from northern Illinois) to pickup/purchase a German Shorthaired Pointer. After the trip to the pet store today, the expense of travel, and the purchase price....I'll have an easy $1250 into this fellow. But he's going to flush birds for me to shoot so it's a photographic expense.

We both know limits are stretched in that respect.lol3.gif

Now am I surprised that a young lady would like a furry rabbit?

    NO!

    Glad she liked it. :D

I like short-haired pointers. Some years back, while I was in Kansas, a friend of mine had one, but it was ME who took him out in the field all the time--to flush out pheasants (had either shotgun nor camera then--STILL don't have a shotgun).

Just had a thought.....here's the deal.....either you send some egrets this way or I'm sending rabbits your way!

Not nice, but I'll do most anything for a photo op! rolleyes1.gif
