I am not sure what type of flower this, but I do know that it only blooms at night, and that the flower does not last too long. All comments welcome.

My wife says there is a good chance that is a Moon Flower (Ipomoea alba). Blooms only at night in the summer, a twining climber. Cousin to the Morning Glory. Does that sound like what you have?
