Tonight I was shooting my kids' HS band field performance. You know, high school stadium, tungsten lights and all. I shot about 100 frames before I realized that I left the camera on "sunny" WB after the airshow...
Now - can you imagine the amount of pp I should have had gone through to salvage these images *if* I was shooting jpegs?
With RAW - I didn't even worry, since I knew that it would take me about 30 sec for fix them all :):
Man, I love RAW:-)

Even when the WB is set correctly in camera, when you're busy shooting conditions and mixed light sources can change faster than you can shoot another custom white balance, especially if your white card is nowhere near the light on the actual subject. I love how after the shoot, subtle yet significant WB improvements can be made in a second by slightly nudging the white balance in Raw or applying a quick eyedropper gray balance.

After seeing how much of an improvement a white balance adjustment can make, and learning how easy it is to work with RAW images in Adobe Bridge, I've started using RAW mode pretty much all the time. I even use it with my point & shoot digicam.
