Tim, they follow the Jewish calendar. They close for Shabat and will do so typically a bit before sundown on Friday and not reopen until Sunday.

There will be some extensive closings coming up for the holidays - you can see them here:

In the summertime, they give their employees a few extra hours off on Friday afternoons :D

I'll shoot Henry Posner a note and let him know you'd like to hear from him... he'll need details, etc.

Thanks Andy, they accedently shipped my 20D order twice so I was billed twice. I refused the second order so that it would be returned to them and they said they would credit the money back. Well the received it back on Thursday and I have not seen the credit to my bank account and now I am overdrawn and really need the couple thousand that they owe me. But I guess I will have to wait to call them tomorrow and they can credit me Monday when the bank is open I suppose.

We close at 2:00pm Fridays during DST and at 1:00pm Fridays during the rest of the year. We're closed all day every Saturday and are open 10:00am-5:00pm Sundays. Nothing strange about it and we've followed this schedule for decades. It's on our site, BTW.

I don't believe we shipped twice accidentally. Our database indicates a telephone order dated 8/15 and a web order containing substantially the same merchandise dated 8/16. Two orders = two shipments.

Customer service will verify with our returns dept that we've received your returned merchandise and as soon as they do will generate the refund. This will probably happen Mon, 8/28. Because of Federal UCC regs, once we generate the refund, it can take several days before your bank will acknowledge to you they've received it from us. We have no control over this delay.

Well I tried to place my order online and my card was declined. So I called and tried to place the order over the phone and my card was declined. I called the bank to see why and it turned out that they were holding a large deposit I had made untill the check cleared so I waited till the next day when the check cleared and then placed my order online. I had no idea that B&H was going to try and run my card from the phone order again. I was told to call back and place my order the next day. So I did just that, I placed it the next day online and it went through just fine. I received a shipping email very quickly after that. Then a few days later I receive another shipping Email! I called the minute I got the email and they said to just refuse it and it would come back to B&H and I would be refunded. Well the UPS tracking says that B&H recevied it back on Thursday the 24th and I still have not seen my refund. I called B&H today( the 28th) and was told that it had just been entered into the computer today. I am overdrawn because if this accident and really need that money :D
