I was able to do some low-angle shots and I like the results very much. I hope you like them too.

Excellant work dick! thumb.gif Like the cool tones, and low angle in the bird shots.
I would like the iguana more if the background was blurred more.

Nice series, Dick....I love the soft, bright green backgrounds in the bird shots. Do you have a low-angle viewfinder for shooting this way??? How did you shoot the bird without getting the camera in the water! :D

Very nice series, Dick. I especially like the last one. The low angle reveals some details that would be lost if shot from a more conventional perspective. It also makes for a pleasing composition in all of them. Good work. thumb.gif

No, just the belly in the sand did the trick.

Really cool reminder that low perspective can increase the power of a wildlife shot by several fold!

    Lovely shots.

Art Morris talks on his web site www.birdsasart.com about shooting while lying on your belly. I see you use this technique also. Well done!

Kind of like shooting children - always shoot from their eyelevel also:):

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
