Still experimenting with my Macro Combo, I found myself what we call in Australia......... "SOUR GRASS"

Yeah our folks used to tell us dogs did wee on it and that's why it's sour :rolleyes
But that didn't stop us from eat the stuff when we were kids :rofl

Enjoy......... Skippy (Australia)

That is a pretty weed. Good clarity and depth, too. So what does it look like in the bigger picture?

BTW-- Skippy, what is that your next to in your picture? A microscope?

Ahhhhh what does it look like in the bigger picture you ask :uhoh well ummm I only took it in Macro sorry...... I was trying for extreme Macro.

The flower itself is quite a pretty one, but it is a weed, almost like a bell shape.

The Microscope is Stereo with a PhotoTube, so what you seen in that picture is all Microscope, along with an Optical Cold Light Source which is those two black flexible arms you see.

Thanks for looking........... :D Skippy (Australia)

Great macro Skippy. I do have a compositional critique though. Did you take any shots with the center of the flower in the upper right corner and use the dark lines of the petal in the lower left to lead the eye to the focus of the shot. I just think that might look neat with a subject such as this. Keep posting your macros, they're great.

Hey there Nick......... I took one photo and only one :D I've only used this setup a couple of times, so I was just taking one off's, to see what I could get in focus.

I will get more chances when Spring arrives, it's still Winter here....but tomorrow I get to go to the Zoo clap.gifclap.gif and I'm gonna try this setup on some Butterflies thumb.gif and hopefully get a real cool Mandril Shot ... that's my goal....... thanks for the critique Nick I will keep that in mind next time I find a flower.

Hi there Swartzy....... l I've learnt heaps from the Dgrin forums, by looking at other peoples work, and taking note of what people write about their setups.

I try as many others do, to share what I know, I have much to learn myself, but it's fun doing it :D thanks for looking ...... Skippy (Australia)
