My 16 year old is on a roll!!!! He played on the Provincial select team last month and they won gold in the National All Star championship. This past weekend, his regular club team won the provincial championship at U16 and are now going to compete for the National championship in October. Each Province sends their top finishing club team!

Championships are in New Brunswick in October - never been any further east than Quebec City so this will be pretty darn cool!

hey that's coolthumb.gif My younger son (10) is still in the beginning stages of his competitive soccer career (and it looks like he might be going the goal keeper route as well), so we'll see where this leads him.

Good luck to your son's team in Oct.

FOLLOW your Son, it is hard to do, but when everything is done, you will miss all those soccer games.

My middle son played div I soccer and we followed him , it is so important to show him your support.. It is how you stay close to him.

AND of COURSE TAKE A LOT OF PICTURES..

I was on the field for 20 of 22 games including NCAA quarterfinals.. taking pictures for the entire team..

I really miss it.. now I shot my granddaughter's soccer games..

Ann, I think this means to make new business cards using a picture that your son is not getting scored against rolleyes1.gif.

Congratulations to you and your son. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Thanks, Colleen - I remember when...!!! Boy, it seems like yesterday when he was the dandelion picker out there. Now, well, we are talking scholarships and tryouts for advanced teams and all of that.

    Cheers

Hi corner - I could not miss it, no way! I get so nervous I feel ill, and yet I will not, can not watch each of them (I have 3 playing right now!). And I do shoot lots and lots and lots.

We are all going to NB for the championships - it is a great excuse to travel to a part of the country we would not likely see, and it will make up for all those years of no holidays cuz it interferes with soccer (yes, really, we did that!)

    Thanks

NICK!!! Quiet, that was a secret rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

I actually 'borrowed' ideas from Ed Hughes and Jack Buchanan and redid my cards - should probably show them off some day!

    Thanks
