I was trying to post these hawk pics with the thread last night but I think smugmug was shuting down, i was having trouble getting it in.

    thanks.. I had been chasing him earlier & he just landed by the road. I couldn't move up for a better profile because there was a truck stopped there. I grabbed what I could . He flew off just after the second shot & I could not hunt him down again.
