Adult Ice Hockey
I had my camera and tooks some shots after my game on Sunday late afternoon.
I hate the lighting at this rink since one side is basically a west facing glass wall and the sun was setting. I think I'm happier if it's consistently bad rather than spotty. I kept getting glare off the dirty plexi-glass and stange shadows.
1. I love the ice flying off his skate. I think the puck is between the two of them...
2. Great skating form, but I think they should only have one hand on the stick if they're chasing something....
3. Face off!
C&C welcomed..

I wouldn't worry a lot about lighting - I have yet to go to a rink that had good light of any kind. Usually it's tungsten orange or flouro green. Ugh.
I think you did well.
Setup: One camera, one lens, and one roll of film.
Oh my! If you have ref'ed those two teams before, you must have ref'ed me before as well! I probably have some shots of you as well...
I may well have. Since the ref isn't weariing a USA Hockey crest, I'm guessing
you're either at RWC or playing a PHA game in San Mateo.

70-200/f2.8 is the way to go.
Make sure your goalie is this good though...
sorry about the haze, it's the glass behind--this was taken on the rink the
San Jose Sharks practice on and both ends are scuffed beyond belief
