Hi Guys,
I just shot the Sunset Junction street fair for the second time. Last year yielded some classic results (I won't bore you with old stuff, but it's at http://www.pbase.com/mmr/sunset_junction).
The day started off on an interesting foot, with the best excuse for never walking your dog:
And just in case you're curious, yes, kids really weren't invited:
There were belly dancers galore at one point:
One of the dancers actually was the photographer at our wedding a few weeks ago:
There was also the best example of moobs (man boobs) I've ever seen in my life:
After a bit, we went back to my brother-in-law's place, where Cousin Gabe served drinks out of a window:
We returned after dark, and it was a bit harsh. I don't recommend trying to manual focus with an 85mm 1.8 on a D70 in the dark, it's just a real pain. Some people, however, stood still, or where in just enough light to be found by AF:
The night came to an unfortunate end when one of our neighbors tossed her cookies:
A terrible ending to an otherwise fun time. I highly recommend it, just make sure to take your eye out of the viewfinder enough to avoid those who can't keep it together.

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
