I don't see any cows in this shot
Yea, I think that would be considered very still. How early did you get up this morning anyway? Very nice shot. Makes me want to go sit on the dock and watch the sunrise. As usual, excellent photography. BTW, happy cows are in Iowa (so my wife says)

Sorry, forgot the EXIF:
Date Taken: 2006-08-30 05:51:50 Model: Canon EOS 30D + EF-S 17-85 IS USM + remote + tripod Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 100 Focal Length: 17mm (guess: 29mm in 35mm) Exposure Time: 20s (20/1)
I agree, this is a great capture of stillness. Have you considered cropping off some of the top? Since there's roughly equal space given to the sky as there is to the earth, it seems like the picture isn't sure which is more important. But even as it stands with the horizon in the center, it's very lovely.

great shot. i like the centered horizon. cant hurt to crop it and see how it looks with more waterscape in the shot though. only one way to find out what looks best.

Thank you!
I'll play with it until the deadline. The reason I wanted to keep the sky is that there is a few bright stars there (maybe not visible after resizing to 640... I may wanna create a smaller version and link it as an original)
I also like how the mast is reflected, hence wanted to keep it all.. Oh well, we'll see...:):
