Adobe photoshop and Photomatix are two softwares which come into mind when talking about HDR imaging.
Any guru's here can post a workflow? how to create a HDR?
Take RAW create 3 jpg -4/0/+4 and merge, or take different shots?
After 32bit hdr what to do to convert to jpg,
How to take care of noise in case of RAW?
Blah blah.
It will be good if someone posts some good HDR images too as examples.

tsk1979, I personally would try not to use JPEG source files to create a HDR file. Probably the more exposures, the better, perhaps in smaller EV steps like 1/5, essentually overlapping each other in the dynamic range being captured with the correct exposure for the tonal sweetspot in question (not sure if raw converter exposure tweaks count as valid or not for creating the source files). Are 8bpc source files acceptable for HDR merging, or are 16bpc imges better? I don't know. Not sure if auto bracketing will provide enough shots...perhaps take them manually...so a tripod is probably required etc. So many issues to contend with. But I have not explored this much yet, just rough thoughts, so don't take any of this as gospel or anything.
My website has some links to HDR info:

Click on the links menu text on the left, then click on the H index letter at the head of the page to jump down and look for HDR & High Bit Image Editing.
A late link not yet on the page mentioned above:

This is what you ask for...
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/hdr.shtml
Canon
http://hdr101.com/?page_id=4 for multiple jpg
http://petemc.net/hdr-guide/ for multiple jpg or Single RAW.
Most sites recommend multiple jpg for still subjects and RAW for moving ones.

Thanks! I can't wait to try it tonight!!

I bought Photomatix not too long ago. It takes a bit of practice to get the adjustments right on any photos you want to use HDR on. It works best with bracketed exposures. I tried fooling it by adjusting the contrasts on three different versions of the same photo (one light, one dark, and one untouched) and it didn't work very well.
Photomatix reads JPEG and TIFF files. It will not read Canon RAW files. I need to convert the Canon RAWs to JPEG or TIFF.
Overall, the results are impressive but you need patience. There is an issue with haloing which I have yet to conquer. Also, the skies sometimes come out an artifical-looking gray color, which you need to adjust.
Two of my initial attempts are posted here:

Photomatix accepts canon RAW files without any problem. All you need to do is go to "Batch processing". Its kinda hidden option. Go through the tutorials for more info"

REALLY? That's great to hear. I haven't worked much with the batch processing end just yet. Will try it later tonight!
