Hi, I'm still trying to catch 'that picture' of my daughter, however I'm having fun experimenting, this time with diffused window light.

The sun briefly shone and blew the highlights, I still like it though.

C&C welcome, thanks.

First and second last photographs are clear winners for me. And you were too high above for the second one. Nice set no matter what and you have captured a good variety of expressions in due time you will forget the light and love these faces.

    Love the light.

PS.... Try shooting kids and pets at eye level and see how it works out.:):

I love the yawning in the 1st and 4th. The eyes are very lovely in the 4th shot, and so is the subtle color. Pathfinder is right about shooting at their level, it gives a whole new perspective.

Thanks everyone, I agree about the shooting at the same level as the baby, for some reason I have to keep reminding myself when shooting, I think it has something to do with my knees mwink.gif

Anyway, I feel like I'm getting somewhere, these pictures are definitely an improvement over my first attempts.

BTW does anyone think I should clone out some of the background of the first image, such as the pictures on the wall?
