The last of the August dragons

Now that we are moving closer to the fall I don't know how much longer I'll be shooting these guys -it's gonna be a long winter :cry

Here are the shots I took yesterday -hope you like them :







FWIW: I don't crop my photos, and I do very little post processing. So out of about 80 shots these are the three that I put in my portfolio...

I love the queen anns lace in the last shot. I think it would have been nice to see it head on at the dragon.

Once the season changes here there are no more critters until spring :cry

I'll be shooting abstracts in the house and working on new lighting techniques to keep my skills sharp for next year.
