photoshop plastic wrap filter

I consider, in my own limited use of, Photoshop's effects filters mostly just fun. But I ran across an interesting application of the Plastic Wrap:

before: baby, emerging sunflower





after: plastic wrap filter applied to inner flower pedals





an another more abstract application of the same to the surrounding background:



Anyway...just too much time on my hands today!

Hi Doug........ I've messed around with this filter too, its quite interesting the way it works isn't it.... doesn't suite everything but hey thats the fun of learning, I tried it on a couple of bug shots.
