Yup Spring is finally here, flowers are starting to bloom and my trigger finger is getting itchy :rofl

All three photos are hand held, none of them are cropped in any way.
Canon 20D + Tamron Tele Converter + Kenko 33mm Ext + Canon 100mm Macro Lens + External Flash + Difuser

Enjoy :D ....... Skippy (Australia)

Wonderful shots skippy- esp #2 (love the angle)
One bit of hopefully constructive criticism- they are all a bit too centred
Think they would improve if the main subject is a bit more off centre.
Mind you I'm pretty useless at flower shots :):

Baloney - you just seem to shoot all of yours though water (droplets) =).
Spring certainly has sprung - was nearly 30 degrees C here today ..

Skippy - nice photos #2 is my fave also , makes me want to take my Sigma out for a spin =).

Thanks Jon....... I'm testing a Macro setup that I saw someone else using and realized I had the same gear, I am really pleased with the results, I need to experiment more.

Shooting them through water drops is a lot easier than trying to shoot an interesting well lit and composed normal flower mwink.gif

These are great flowers Skippy but where are the bugs? I agree with Lord V, flowers can really be hard to shoot and make interesting. You made these interesting Skippy, but they would be more interesting if they weren't so centered.

Gorgeous! And ask me if I care that they're not all perfectly centered.thumb.gif

I have to keep reminding myself that it's NOT summer down there (yet)!
