Very interesting colors in this shot...I'd be interested to know your post procedure on this. Great reflections! Is this in Oregon?

a recent area high school graduate just died here in a truck that plunged 75 feet off the road up this mountain--

    Great Shot
Awesome shot, the colors are nice. I just have a couple of questions.
In the reflections, is there a reason the spotlight under the third trestle from the right isn't reflecting in the water? The underneath sections of all the other trestles show just fine but not that one with the spotlight. Did you have to remove it in the reflection for some reason? Also the multiple reflections in the water all look like windows of say a train, and yet the apparent real source look a lot smaller. But yes it is an awesome photo... great job.

    thanks for commenting billy-

my best guess is that the light at the trestle is actually from a source way behind the trestle and just shining through the trestle; since it's further back it's not going to be reflected in the water-

the 'train windows'' reflection is a distortion of the lights you see at the bridge, which are actually car(s) lights lengthened due to a time elapse shot (20 to 30 seconds) and seen through the short columns of the bridge railing-

that's the best I can do; I think they're plausible explanations-

Yeah i went to your website after i posted and looked at the bigger version and could see the same things.. I agree the spot light is at a larger depth and at a low angle so thats probably being blocked by the trees. The train window effect is so cool. I would assume since you said they were car lights that the time lapse of the cars movement and the water flow affects the length and width of their reflections. That is so cool. I love reflections by the way. Thanks for your explanation and i beleive you are absolutely correct.
