New Camera - I'm back in the game!

I've been stuck without a camera for too damn long.
I had to travel across the country to start a new job. I work as a bicycle mechanic, so I just didn't have that kind of $. It killed me, but my Nikon D50 and my Nikon F4s went on eBay and for the past few months I was stuck without a camera.
I finally managed to splurge for a new Digital SLR
I got a Nikon D1 it's a pretty sweet setup if you ask me.
at 2.7 megapixles, it's pretty low res, but if I can get an 8X10, I'll be happy.
I do most of my shooting on Ski and Mountain Bike trips, so I needed a camera with fast AF, my D50 just didn't cut it. I really hope this D1 will do better.
If anybody has any experience with this camera please feel free to share. I can't wait until it gets here.
Now all I need to do is find a cheap lens!
