    Nice variety!! Looks like you're finding a good assortment of birds at B.C. That kite is beautiful...I love the light coming through his tail feathers. thumb.gif

    Thanks! :): I was worried that it would be more difficult to photograph birds at Bolsa with the new layout, but it appears not to be the case.

    hey Glenn I did not see you sat I had to go down and do a job in oc so stooped on my way home to see the juv skimmer [thanks] now that was fun they are has bad as a new colt rolleyes1.gif the bean field is planted but I went to the chicken farm and hoped but ibis are coming in later and later nothing but chicken shots :cry :uhoh very nice set thumb.gif

    I ended up going to Bolsa in the morining and left mid-afternoon. It seems like a good time for sleepy raptors. The osprey took off as soon as he could see me. I ended up waiting at the end of the path on a slight hill, near where the path is blocked by the new fence. Most of the photos I took was from that area. I'm going to give Crystal Cove a try today!

    I love the Kite(light through the tail feathers) and the Peregrine shots, but all are great! Good hunting!

    Thanks Harry! That juvenile peregrine landed on a branch right above my head while I was shooting some phalaropes. I mistook him for a merlin at first.
