A few more hummers

Actually it is the same ones from my last series.

Need a drink with breakfast...

Adjusting rudder... This one came back soft, but I like the way the shot captured the white tail feathers.

Going in.... If you look carefully, you can see the beak begin to open.

    Yes I noticed that too. I was in manual mode so I could really bump of the exposure speed and it was hand held. I think I know what my problem is though. The hummer was moving so quickly that my point of focus for the camera was something other than the hummer. That is why it (the hummer) ended up soft. I'm still learning how to shoot these little guys, but it is fun nonetheless.

    try using a flash -pre focus try ap and get you speed up or use lights and tripod then the softness will go away mwink.gif yea right but they will get better thumb.gif

    Thanks jwear. I actually did do the pre-focus, but I still need lights, at least a good flash, and a tripod! Thanks for the advice.
