I like it I also agree that the bowler's motion blur is nice. Being an IR lawn bowling fan, I've thought about seeing if I could get a rolling ball in the frame. I've always thought that a "blurred" ball would really add to a lawn bowling IR shot Although, I only shoot IR using the NightShot mode and it's tough to get a slow enough speed. I think I bottom out at 1/8 sec. Maybe you can try it with your Mavica. Plus, since it's Winter here (lawn bowling season is over) and Summer there, you'll have the first opportunity to try it.....lol

I agree-the trees could be green with a mask and change to hue-once I get my new pc I will have a crack at it-PS is not what I call an area of expertise-the other option is to go black and white..thanks for your suggestion

It is though :dood and I like the blue! Must have been really close to being able to see the ball, you can just trace its path now (or is that shadow?).
Could make a good challenge theme "uncool to cool"

its good to get a reaction-thanks people-until i get my printer happening my sole source of feedback and critical advice is via the internet and email-i really appreciate the interest and expression of different opinions-i took quite a few shots at the bowls club ,so will post some more
