Back to the nest once again
When I arrived there was more activity from the smaller birds so I snapped this one before one of the osprey flew past with a fish
The osprey were actually sharing a fish which I found quite surprising, the osprey that caught the fish flew past with it to a different tree out of sight, ate half the fish then flew back to the nest and gave the other half to the osprey sitting on the eggs. Which in turn flew off with his/her half of dinner.
I missed the actual changeover of the fish as I don't quite have the hieght unfortunately.
This is the 'what did you bring me for dinner?' shot
and I'll take my dinner somewhere away from the kiddies
My fav from the afternoons shooting
Cheers for looking, comment and critque away

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Harry, I was just reading earlier about exposing for snowy egrets and have come accross similar issues shooting these osprey where I get either an over exposed head and detail in the darker parts or vice versa. I will be going again shortly to try dropping the exposure compensation to help out.
Get well soon by the way, you are an inspiration to all bird shooters and we miss the regular posts of your latest captures
